In November 2007, we became an approved installer on the A1-Boilers scheme.* As an approved A1-Boilers installer, we have access to discounted products and a wide knowledge base of high energy efficient products and renewable technologies that will immediately be able to save the customer money because we can buy the same high-efficiency products as other installers but at a discounted rate.

You will also be confident that we are recommending products and technologies that will save energy, save money and reduce your carbon emissions!

Since 2003 the award winning scheme, overseen by npower, has been instrumental in saving in excess of 63,000 tonnes of carbon emissions helping to save the planet once they are installed. This scheme, with its partners, has funded over 88,000 new boiler installations and has nationwide base of over 10,000 registered installers - and A J Holding Plumbing & Heating is one of the many oil-fired boiler OFTEC-registered installers.

A J Holding Plumbing & Heating and the A1-Boiler scheme only include products of the highest efficiency and highest quality on the scheme.

Products on this scheme are not just Worcester-Bosch "A" rated oil-fired boilers but also other energy efficient products. For those interested in the increasingly popular solar hot water solutions, the solar thermal systems from Worcester-Bosch and Vaillant have recently been added to the list of "A" rated systems:

• "Aurotherm Exclusive" 2-,3-,4- or 5-collector panel pack, from Vaillant
